People are our most valuable assets. United Technologies Corporation (UTC) and Carrier are committed to train and develop our employees by providing continuous educational and training programs. This can enhance our employees' knowledge, skills and capabilities, and also equip the corporation for achieving our goals.

UTC Employee Scholar Program

In 1997, Carrier Hong Kong launched the UTC Employee Scholar Program. The reason for the program is simple: in the words of United Technologies President George David, "Our goal is to have the best educated work force on the planet."

Under this program, the company will pay the tuition, books and academic fees. Staff will be given paid time off to study. Upon successful completion of the study, UTC will award stock shares as a graduation present.
